A stunning campsite nestled in a beautiful location in the Cotswolds. It is situated directly on the Cotswold Way, it offers an ideal stopping point for backpackers and outdoor enthusiasts. They welcome caravans, motorhomes, and tents, catering to a variety of accommodation preferences, including all Roof Tents. There are plenty of grass pitches and more often than not they offer a choice as to where you pitch. For their guests who prefer camping in tents (including roof tents ) they have a dedicated section in a separate area of the field, providing a tranquil and serene setting for your outdoor experience. While electric hook-ups for tents are limited, they do aim to accommodate your needs to the best of their ability. To enhance your camping experience, they offer a number of fire pits for those who wish to enjoy an open fire during their stay. They believe in fostering a cozy and inviting atmosphere where you can gather around the warmth of a crackling fire. To ensure a sustainable and safe practice, they do kindly request that you purchase wood from their farm shop for use in the fire pits.

This campsite is perfect for my Girlfriends and I, we all live locally and camp there frequently. We love the site and it means we are still close to our families if they should need us. All of us friends that camp together, have yet to find a better site in all of Gloucestershire or Worcestershire that feels as welcoming, with such beautiful surroundings and as laid back as this. It is also very reasonably priced, we each pay only £9 per night per person, on a grass pitch, regardless of what we are staying the night in (caravan/car/tent or camper) therefore a roof tent on a car is £9 per night per person.

I will be able to upload my media at a later date. When my TentBox has arrived and been installed on my VW UP ( tomorrow 23/09/23 ) I will take photographs of my own TentBox on the site, I'm pretty sure it will be an upgrade from sleeping inside my VW UP ! I have camped at the site many times in my UP and I have seen for myself many roof tents on the site. In fact, seeing Roof Tents on the site is what encouraged me to eventually purchase a TentBox for my VW UP to enhance my own camping experience. I was loathed to stop camping with my VW UP, it may well be cramped to sleep inside, now when my Tentbox is installed, it will again be the perfect car/tent for me.
